KYC/AML Policy
1. General Provisions

These Rules govern the use of the Axent Exchange platform and define the terms for providing cryptocurrency exchange services.

Using the service constitutes the User's full and unconditional agreement to these Rules and acceptance of all obligations.

Axent Exchange provides exclusively the technical capability for digital asset exchange and is not a financial institution, bank, payment organization, or custodial service.

The service operates in accordance with AML (Anti-Money Laundering) principles and KYC (Know Your Customer) procedures.

The service reserves the right to amend these Rules. The current version is always available on the website.


2. Unified AML and KYC Principles

Axent Exchange applies a risk-based approach to transaction analysis. All transactions may be analyzed for the purpose of:

  • preventing illegal financial schemes;
  • detecting suspicious activity;
  • reducing operational and reputational risks.
2.1. Transaction Monitoring

The service uses automated and manual analysis methods. Axent Exchange reserves the right to:

  • analyze transactions;
  • suspend the processing of a request;
  • request additional information;
  • refuse to execute an operation without disclosing risk assessment algorithms.
2.2. User Identification (KYC)

In certain cases, the service may request:

  • identity documents;
  • selfies or other visual confirmations;
  • additional details related to the processing of the request.
2.3. Source of Funds Verification (AML)

When necessary, Axent Exchange may request:

  • screenshots of cryptocurrency wallets;
  • transaction history;
  • banking or payment documents;
  • explanations regarding the source of funds.
2.4. Verification Timeframes

The review period is from 1 to 10 calendar days and may be extended with the involvement of third-party services.

Warning: Refusal to provide requested information may lead to the suspension of the operation and inability to refund funds.

3. Prohibited Platforms and High-Risk Operations

Axent Exchange does not service operations related to sanctioned or prohibited platforms, including:

4. Prohibited Operations

It is prohibited to use the service for operations related to any illegal activity, terrorism financing, sanctions evasion, or money laundering.


5. Sanctions Policy

Axent Exchange complies with international sanctions regimes including OFAC, EU, UN, and other regulators.


6. Transaction Control

If suspicious activity is detected, Axent Exchange reserves the right to suspend or cancel an operation without notification.


7. Responsible Persons

Axent Exchange designates authorized employees to oversee AML/CTF compliance and internal user verification procedures.


8. Refund Policy

Refunds are only possible when technically feasible. The amount is returned minus network fees and operational costs.


9. Limitation of Liability

Axent Exchange is not liable for blockchain network delays, third-party service failures, or losses resulting from circumstances beyond the Service's control.


10. Final Provisions

These Rules are mandatory for all Users. Continued use of the service after publication of changes constitutes acceptance of the new version.
